One of the first signs of Spring is the sound of frogs. When the frogs awaken from their winter freeze, they head to vernal pools to mate and lay their eggs. We need volunteers to help the frogs and salamanders safely get across Range Road! DATE: To be determined by the frogs! Usually occurs on a March or April rainy evening when temperatures are around 45-50 degrees.

All ages and abilities are welcome to participate and explore this magnificent 200+acre forest. Guided tours will be given by Forester Jay Braunscheidel and members of the Trust. Children can take part in a Scavenger Hunt and will receive Pocket Guides to Maine Animal Tracks to help them discover who lives in the forest. Free hot cocoa and snacks.
