CCLT welcomes Puffin Expert to Chebeague Island July 20,2016
Chebeague & Cumberland Land Trust welcomes Puffin Expert, Dr. Steve Kress to Chebeague Island.

Steve Kress, world-renowned expert on Atlantic puffins and seabird restoration, will present a program on Chebeague Island, Wednesday, July 20th at 7pm at the Chebeague Island Hall. Dr. Kress' inspiration and tenacity led the successful effort to restore Atlantic puffins to Eastern Egg Rock in Muscongus Bay. He is co-author of the book, Project Puffin, which describes his years-long campaign off the Maine coast and his attempts to replicate his success with puffins for other rare and endangered seabirds.
In addition, Chebeague Island School students will present their own film, The Puffin Movie, and share their enthusiasm for birds with Dr. Kress and the audience.
