FALL HIKE AT FARWELL FOREST
POSTPONED to SUNDAY, October 21st at 11:00am
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Please join us for a beautiful fall hike through the recently conserved Farwell Forest on Blanchard Road in Cumberland. The Farwell Forest conservation easement protects 46 acres of mixed forest, diverse wildlife habitat and a spring fed stream. This scenic property is a managed woodland with historic stone walls, a public access trail for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Farwell Forest is part of an emerging conservation and recreational corridor through Cumberland. We will have activities for the kids and celebrate after the hike with apple pie and cider. A memorial bench will also be dedicated in honor of Raymond Seekins and Lynette Seekins Cameron.
