The Rines Forest is a magnificent 216 acre woodland in the heart of Cumberland. The Town purchased the Rines Forest in 2003 from the Rines family, and in 2005 crafted a conservation easement with the Land Trust to ensure that the forest would remain a natural area and managed forest preserve for wildlife and the public to enjoy forever.
The Rines Forest is a beautiful and tranquil natural environment located on Range Road. The forest in its full splendor has impressive colors of Fall, cascading waterfalls, old stone walls, and interesting terrain.
