Description and History:
Rock Rodge Preserve is a 39-acre parcel owned by CCLT surrounding a 15-lot development off Harris Road. It is heavily wooded with a diversity of trees such as hemlock, birch, maple, beech, oak, pine, alder and fir. It is also richly inhabited with wildlife. There are two established trails on the property. One, for foot traffic only, follows a stream through thick woods from Range Way to the CMP power line; the other is over higher ground and is somewhat longer. It is possible for the two trails to connect to create a 1-mile loop along the outer edge of the parcel. The southeast corner is primarily wetland.
