Join us at Royal River Conservation Trust’s Chandler Brook Preserve to learn about ferns and bobolinks.

Location: 1409 North Road, North Yarmouth

Directions/Parking: All trails are easily accessed from the parking area and trailhead on North Road in North Yarmouth. To get there from the intersection of North Road and Memorial Highway (Route 9) in North Yarmouth: drive one mile north on North Road, take a right onto a gravel driveway when you see a blue “Chandler Brook Preserve” sign.  Stay left as the driveway forks.  A small parking lot for preserve users is at the end of the driveway, just before a railroad crossing and kiosk. GPS address: 1409 North Road, North Yarmouth.

Get Out! Nature Walks

These Get Out! Nature Walks are led by trained master naturalists and skilled volunteers. They occur on the fourth Wednesday of the month (unless indicated otherwise), rain, snow, or shine. Jointly offered by both CCLT and the Royal River Conservation Trust, the walks take place at preserves in the towns of Chebeague Island, Cumberland, Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Pownal, New Gloucester, Durham, and anywhere else we decide to roam. *Photography and Filming Note: Your attendance at CCLT events may be photographed or filmed and your attendance indicates consent to have any images or footage featuring you at the event to be used for CCLT-related materials and outreach.
