Please join the CCLT Trail Crew on Thursday, April 30 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Farwell Forest for a trail crew session to create a new trail section.  We'll park on the road shoulder on Blanchard Road (near 145 Blanchard Road, Cumberland) and hike a short way to the work site.  We'll be marking out and cutting a new trail section at Farwell Forest that will allow hikers and bikers to access the forest trails without passing along the field edge.  The idea is to divert traffic away from the field in order to improve bird habitat in the field.  CCLT will have tools on hand (loppers, pruning saws, electric chainsaw) but please feel free to bring your own.  Questions?  Please contact Jonathan Dawson at steward@ccltmaine.org.
