CCLT is having a stewardship work expedition to Stockman Island on Wednesday, August 2nd from 8:30 to 12:30 or so. We'll meet at the Yarmouth Boat Landing Town Park at 8:30 and board a small motor boat for the trip to the island. On the island our task is to cut back some invasives, survey the overall condition of the island. In addition, we've had two goats out there for over two months, hopefully munching away on poison ivy and invasives. We'll assess the impact of the goats AND bring them back to the mainland (if we can catch them!). If you want to come, please confirm with Jonathan Dawson at steward@ccltmaine.org. There are limited spots on the boat.
